WINDSOR CASTLE
Thursday 15 September

Participants will be collected from outside the Crowne Plaza Hotel at 09.00. The day will begin with a quick tour of the capital’s highlights en route to Windsor. On arrival into Windsor participants will embark on a short cruise on the River Thames. The cruise goes upstream to Boveney Lock and returns with fantastic views of Windsor Castle, Eton College, Mill house, Windsor Racecourse and The Brocas Meadows. After the cruise there will be time for a stroll in the town centre and a leisurely lunch (not included) before visiting the castle. The tour will terminate back at the Crowne Plaza Hotel at approximately 18.00 (depending on traffic).

WINDSOR CASTLE
Built high above the River Thames, Windsor Castle has been home to the Royal Family for 900 years and is still an Official Residence of the Queen. We visit the magnificent State Apartments, still used for State occasions and Royal receptions. Take some time to explore the castle grounds and the fourteenth-century St. George's Chapel, one of the most beautiful examples of medieval church architecture in England and a burial place of kings and queens, including Henry VIII and his third wife Jane Seymour.

CRUISE ON REGENT’S CANAL
Friday 16 September

This tour combines two less touristy areas of the capital allowing you to view them on foot and from the water. Participants will be collected from outside the Crowne Plaza Hotel (45-51 Buckingham Gate) at 09.00 and driven to Little Venice where they will board the canal boat. After a 45 minute trip up Regent’s Canal with a guided history tour of the area, participants will disembark at Camden Lock and be taken for a walk on Primrose Hill before an early lunch (not included) at a local restaurant. A coach will pick up participants from here and take them back to the Crowne Plaza Hotel at an estimated time of arrival of 14.30 (depending on traffic).
