VENUES & TRAVEL

London is famous for its museums, galleries and architecture, both modern and old, and offers a delightful cultural experience. Those visiting for the first time will have a memorable experience, those returning will be impressed by the variety of new and exciting exhibits.

London is served by five international airports: Heathrow, Gatwick, London City, Stansted and London Luton. Hotels around the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre can be reached in under an hour from Heathrow Airport using train and underground. Use the multilingual Transport for London "Journey Planner" to help organise your travel within London.

The Symposium will be held at the Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre (QEII Centre), one of London’s most prestigious conference venues. Located in the heart of Westminster, the Centre is only a short walk from some of London's best-known landmarks including Buckingham Palace, the London Eye and Westminster Abbey. The "West End" with its musicals, clubs and restaurants is within easy reach, whilst Mansion House, the Tower of London and St. Paul's Cathedral are just a mile away.

The QEII Centre is only minutes from both Victoria and Waterloo mainline train stations, while the Eurostar terminal at Waterloo has instant access to Northern France, Brussels and Paris. Underground stations at Westminster and St. James’s Park are just a few minutes walk away, providing direct access to the rest of London.
