World Nuclear Symposium 2024

Turning Momentum into Energy
4-6 September 2024

Call for Presentations

Join World Nuclear Association at the leading international conference of the nuclear energy industry: World Nuclear Symposium 2024. This event will be an excellent opportunity to understand the global status of nuclear energy, connect with its leaders, and build new business opportunities.

The nuclear industry has continued to build momentum over the last year. For the first time since 1995, nuclear energy was included in the final text of COP28 in the United Arab Emirates. During COP28, 22 countries signed the Net Zero Nuclear Industry Pledge, publicly supporting the target of at least tripling global nuclear capacity by 2050. As both established and emerging nuclear energy countries pledge to expand capacity, it is vital for industry to turn momentum into energy and ensure that the fuel and the supply chain can meet this growing demand.

The Association is now inviting proposals for presentations at World Nuclear Symposium 2024. Presentations should refrain from self-promotion and instead concentrate on the following five topic areas:

  • Tripling global nuclear energy capacity for the clean energy transition
  • Uranium & Fuel Supply: assessing requirements, security and capacity
  • Nuclear for prosperity; socio-economic benefits for emerging economies development
  • Nuclear applications beyond electricity
  • Environmental, social, and corporate governance (ESGs) and climate finance

This is a great opportunity to present to industry leaders, governments, energy experts and journalists, and to shape the future of nuclear energy globally at a critical point in time. Submit your presentation proposal by 26 April 2024 to be considered for the World Nuclear Symposium 2024 programme.
